Alleycat Acres invites you, the residents of the Central District, for a community potluck at our second future farm site on Sunday, May 16th from 2-4 pm at 22nd & Union.
Together, we’ll whip up a mean BBQ, share our favorite dishes, meet tons of new friends and share lots of stories. And if you haven’t met any of us yet who work behind the scenes to make urban farms possible, now is your chance!
All we need is YOU and your homemade favorite dish! If you’d like to grill, we’ll have a BBQ or two around so you can. We’ll also have an idea board for input from you, the ‘cats who call the Central District home, so you can help us decide the future of the farm.
As we are a newly formed organization, we don’t have much cash -- so if you can bring anything to help set up and enjoy the day (like tables..chairs... compostable forks/cups..) please let us know -- shoot an email to info@alleycatacres.com and lettuce know (pun intended) how you can help. Heck, even if you have a banjo and want to come play for a bit, by all means join us!
With an expected 70 degree day, what a better way to soak up some rays while meeting new friends and sharing delicious, homemade food. We hope to see you Sunday!
