GROW FORTH: An Alleycat Acres Fundraiser, 5/27 @ Grey Gallery

Alleycat Acres, Sustainable Seattle and Grey Gallery invite you to join us for GROW FORTH, a fund raiser benefiting Seattle’s newest urban farming collective, Alleycat Acres.

Since January 25th, the team behind Alleycat Acres and their volunteers have crafted two urban farms on underutilized spaces, contributed well over 800 volunteer hours, and have received countless coverage from the media, including the Seattle Times, KUOW and KBCS community radio.

Being completely volunteer driven, the Alleycat’s are reaching out into the community to help raise funds to continue their mission on creating a network of farms within the city. Join us in Growing Forth!

With amazing drinks and food, we’ll have a stellar soundtrack for the night being spun by DJ Colby B. and Brett Law. We’ll also be raffling off some pretty amazing items that have all been donated to us from rad, local businesses. Plus, we’ll have a slideshow of our work and show a short video with Erick Haakenson, owner of Jubilee Farm out in Carnation discussing the importance of collaboration in urban agriculture.

Raffle prizes include:
