BFF: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... and Go!

BFF... here we come!

Or wait. No we don't. Not yet, at least.

But that's where you come in.

As many of you know, we have a sweet cargo trailer made by our pal Haulin Colin so we can bike our weekly deliveries of fresh produce to our pals at the Beacon Avenue Food Bank. And if you've ever stepped foot on any of the farms, you'd often see a nice collection of bikes chillin' along side rows of potatoes or resting up against telephone poles.

So it only stands to reason to throw down a bike ride.

This spring, we'll be doing just that -- throwin' a 60 mile fundraiser ride to kick off the farming season and bring in funding for the year for our work. Already, we have some pretty bad ass sponsors lined, standing behind us.

So how does the BFF and you and us tie in? Well, we're looking for a few folks down to collaborate: A filmmaker, a motion graphic whiz & a passionate story teller.

3 people who can combine their talents to make a short documentary about the day of the bike ride.

This project would be completely open, and the three of ya'all (or more?) would take it by the handlebars and produce a rad short (3-10 minute) clip about us, our farms, our friends and our future.

And perhaps, we can submit it to the BFF in 2011.
