Thank you for joining forces with us as we hit the streets!
We'll be in touch soon to confirm your status as a rider. If you have any questions in the mean time, please email sean at sean(at)alleycatacres(dot)com.
Now, it's up to you to figure out how to raise at least $60. After all, what you raise is what our working budget will be for our coming year... !
Here's a few ideas & suggestions to think about:
+ In school? Professors and fellow students can play a key role in helping you raise money. Don't be afraid to ask for sponsorships! Or perhaps you can throw down an awesome bake sale? Or raffle?
+ Employed? Check to see if your job matches volunteer contributions. The money you raise could then be matched through your company's volunteer matching program. Double those dollars!
+ In Church? Strike up conversation about what we do and the ride you're going to push forth on. Perhaps another bake sale or craft sale could be organized to sponsor you?
+ Family? Friends? Reach out to them and ask them to sponsor you in any amount. $5 bucks a pop really adds up!
+ Community & local businesses may also be your best friend. Frequent a coffee shop? A bookstore? Strike up conversation and see if they'd like to contribute to the cause.
+ Know a band? Have them throw a benefit show for you.
+ Holidays? Instead of asking for stuff, ask for support.
+ Own a bar? A restaurant? Throw a sponsor night and have a percentage of sales go towards sponsoring a rider (you!).
Those are just a few to spark some ideas.. if anyone else has any great idears, too, please share in the comment section below.
Can't wait to see you in March!
