It's time to add another notch on the wall. We're turning 2!
And we're hoping you can join us for one sweet, sweet birthday bonanza!
On Thursday, January 12th, we're throwing down a party to celebrate two years of farming -- and to kick off our new bike team and our spring fundraising efforts. We'll drink (thanks to Georgetown Brewing), we'll dance (thanks to our DJ friend, Vanessa Nova), and we'll have our cake and eat it, too (thanks to Shavi Snax).
Please join us -- what we've accomplished is due to the support you've provided and the countless hours of working on the farms that everyone has contributed. It's not just our birthday, it's yours, too!
At 7:30 PM we'll have a brief presentation from youth from Seattle Academy that have been working with us over the past couple of months. We'll also give a quick 2 year recap so you can see how much we've grown! Afterwards, we'll light the candles on the cake and make a birthday wish!
And accordingly so -- we're offering FREE REGISTRATION for the first 25 cyclists to register for our upcoming bike ride fundraiser, Streets + Beets. If we hit the cap by the time you arrive, we'll be offering a special discount price so you can beet the streets with us.
PLUS: We'll raffle off $100 in ZipcarSeattle credit so you can apply it towards your existing account or sign up for free and experience what car sharing is really about -- having wheels when you want them (wheels that can help haul a yard of compost to your garden).
Plus we'll have a 1 month CSA Share from Clean Greens Farm, friends of ours based in the Central District, up for raffle, too. Mmmmm!
